i am keeping it in a timber shed but some evenings there is condensation all over the chrome and engine parts on my lovely new bike. The shed is not leaking, its brand new and i am checking the bike every night now even if its not been out. Has anyone any ideas how to stop this pain in the hole, i have a bike cover which doesnt help at all.

try putting a roof vent in your shed that way the temperature will stay more consistent with the outside your problem is the sun heating up the interior then being trapped inside and depending on the dew point in your area when it drops below that the condensation happens also on a warm day wash and wax your bike chrome to it will protect it

Spray the chrome and aluminium with S100 Corrosion Protectant - brilliant stuff!

Simple formula here - hot engine + cold air = condensation

Good quality chrome polish every week - or heat your shed.

As it is Jap - the chrome will not be brill anyway - never is.
