First of all, just so you know, the Aveo is a rebadged Daewoo. That's a Korean maker. It is a known fact that they have had a long standing history with very poor resale values. I really think that price is way too high. Ask them to drop the extended warranty and offer them about $4K. Better yet, for just a little more, you can get an 2008 Aveo for about $10K. Be advised that I personnaly have had to deal with my sisters 2004 Aveo and we had to get rid of it because the engine needed rebuilding. It didn't seem to matter that we took very care of it. Those little engines really were not built to with stand the type of driving we do here in the USA. Think about what their country looks like. Small, isolated, not a great deal of hwy's to travel on. So their car designs reflect that. In all honestly, spend just a little more and get a Nissan Versa. Sometimes, the overall reliability of a car that costs just a little more, is a better bargain.

No, I look at the local car adds in my news paper and they have had new ones going for this price. I know the advertised one is most likely the bare bones, but you should still get a better price. I would expect $6600 for this.
