I am buying this car, but im just wondering if the leather is real or not. It looks like leather, but im not sure if it is pleather, or real leather. Does BMW make cars with fake leather? Or, are all BMWs either cloth interior or real leather interior?

Is there anything under there like a bigger fan or anything that would stop you from putting a regular flat engine cover from a base line 911? I really like the lines of the original 911 and don't really like wings on them.

I hear a lot of trash out here between Harley folks, and the Jap (and other) bike riders. I have owned 3 Harleys in my long time riding, and I guess the concept has escaped me as to why some, not all Harley riders are so hard core anti-Jap bikes. Why, in your opinion (and perhaps some facts) is a Harley so good. I really would like the insight, thanks.

When I crank it, it sounds like it wants to start but can't seem to keep going. Is this because of bad plugs, wires, distributor, fuel filter or the alternator? Where should I start?

I have an '05 Mustang, and everytime I brake, wether I'm going fast or slow, my steering wheel will kinda shimmy and I hear a noise, almost like a rubbing sound. I got the rotors checked and they are fine. Know what this could be??

This is just another one of my questions before I go ahead and buy a manual car.

One thing I can distinctly recall from driving automatic is the comfort and smoothness. Now don't get me wrong, I really like going fast and accelerating (and this is one of the reasons I am considering a manual), as I am a teenager, but in the morning, just tapping the pedal and getting to school seems very comfortable and a relaxing way to start the day, tapping the pedals and listening to some Chopin.

Once I am good at stick, will it seem like I can effortlessly/comfortably drive in the morning, even after a long night and I am still very tired? Or will I have to muster up my energy and pay close attention? Does it take a lot of energy to operate the clutch/shifter? Please share your experiences and insights, it is greatly appreciated!

My wife and I have looked at various SUVs as the next family vehicle. The top two that have our attention are: 1. Chevy Equinox AWD and 2. HUMMER H3. I personally don't really like the H3, but the Equinox isn't bad. I however, had my eye on a Hyundai Santa Fe or Ford Edge. I think I may have been overridden on those. Need some advice on which are more reliable, etc., etc. Thanks.

Hi, I am looking at purchasing a Box truck, the only problem is someone hit a tree branch with the very top corner of the box of the truck. It looks to be a 3 ft x 2 ft corner section. And it aluminum. Is it possible to repair this? If so, how? And would it be expensive? Thank you in advance.

My boyfriend and I looked at a great 1999 Audi 4 Quattro last night. It seems to be in excellent condition. We are of course going to get it checked out by my mechanic before buying it - however, he's not an Audi specialist by any means.

So, does anyone know if they are overall good cars? Are they expensive to maintain? Or have any known issues?

Thanks!

Ok I own a 97 Honda Prelude. I woke up this morning and tried to start my car and nothing. The battery seems to be fine. I turn the key and nothing happens. The dash light lights up and all other things light headlights work. When i turn the key there is a slight noise that comes from the steering column. I have some car knowledge but cant see to find whats wrong. Can it be my ignition switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I need help to replace the water pump on my dodge neon 2001.?
I am aware that I need a Chrysler balance puller to remove the Vibration bumper. How will I prevent the damper from rotating while I remove its bolt? Which tool will I need to install it back? How do I accomplish that? The service manuals states: "Install crankshaft vibration damper using M12 1.75x1500 mm bolt, washer, thrust bearings and nut from Special Tool 6792".
To access the water pump mounting screws I will also need to remove the CAMSHAFT sprocket. How can I manage to hold the camshaft sprocket in place (prevent it from spinning) while I remove its locking bolt? How will I be able to pull it out from its shaft? The service manual recommend using four special tools for this job. Are these tools really indispensable or can I use something that more widely available?

Thanks a lot.

I have to mix up some oil/gas for my nephews 50cc four wheeler. The guy I bought it from said 28:1 ratio. I would call this guy back but I lost his number. The question is what kind of 2 stroke oil should I use? What is a good way to get the 28:1 ratio?

Here's the example:
I was leaving a restaurant in my car with my bro following behind in his car - we were going to another destination and it was dark.
I noticed while on the main road his headlights weren't on!! I couldn't think how to tell him his lights were off as he's behind me!!! ended up having to stop and tell him lol

is there a way to tell someone behind you to turn their lights on?

Best answer chosen as always thanks:p
