If a car makes an abrupt and sudden stop as they are approaching a yellow light because they realize they will not make it through and when they stop the light is red and a few seconds later they are rear ended by another vehicle who thought the first car and themselves were going to go through the light is the car that stopped abruptly also at fault?

I was driving to work this morning on the freeway and I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a Mustang doing at least 65 with her face up next to the rearview mirror putting on her eyeliner !! I was like, "ok, whatever" but then when I looked over a couple of seconds later she was halfway over in my lane !! It scared me so bad I dropped my electric shaver in my coffee and it spilled on my cell phone ! Those things aren't cheap and now I have to get a new one. What are your thoughts on the crazy women drivers of today ???

my wife and i purchased a used car 2 weeks ago gave the dealer 1000 down singed paperwork dealer showed up today and picked up the car told us unless we could give them additional 2000 down they were gonna take the car so they took it what about my 1000 down is thiere a law that they broke here?what do i do how long do they have to refund my 1000 dollars down?

I believe my thermostat is stuck open. Here is the senerio. In the morning on the way to work(upper 30's outside) the temperture gauge barley moves off of cold. If it does go a tad up it drops down to cold again when i drive the Hwy. Heat is luke warm at most. My commute home, being it warmer in tthe day, it reads a little warmer on the hwy. Maybe creeps up 1/2 way to normal. The past week the only time it got up to full normal temp reading is when I took the side streets home and even then it took longer than normal. also the heater seems to work fine. I made an appointment with goodyear simply because they are close to me and i can walk it if need be. I checked the better business bureau and they have no complaints but i want to ask you all opinion if you thin they are a fair shop???? what is the average time/cost of this repair when done at a shop. I live in kansas city. Also if your a mechanic let me know in your responce. thanks for your kindness.

runs great when its warm but when temp drops below 50 degrees truck will miss really bad until engine warms. now the truck will not start at all. it cranks but not start. runs great during the summer. only in cooler temperatures. its a 2000 chevy 1500

Hey everybody. i need help if. i've got a 1974 Honda 350four. i got the bike from my uncle. it has been sitting since 1980,it run when he parked it. but he didn't drain the fuel out of the carbs. little to say it clogged everything up. i'm doing the restro my self and i've cleaned the carbs best i can. my problem is that i cann't figure out how to get the floats off so i can clean under them. also any ideas or better ways to clean my carbs out will be appreciated. i trying to do all the work myself here at the house and not have to take it to a shop.

My friend told me that if I add baby powder to my oil it will soften it, and make it run smoother....do I mix it with oil first, or just pour it straight in the tube?

i am 17 years old and i really just dont like living at home at all my parents can be really horrible at time. so i really just wanna move out and get away from it all. i have a job and my car belongs to me and its all in my name the insurance and the registation yes my dad bought it but they signed it over to me the whole car everything the title is now in my name...so can he take my car from me or come after me for the car if i move out? and could they come after me in general if i leave cuz im still only 17? even though i have a job and i pay all my bills by myself......

i just bought the truck from my brother. he told me that the transmission was making a whining noise before it had this problem. i cannot put it in gear while its running. if i put it in gear while off and then try to start it with the clutch peddle fully to the floor the truck jumps forward or backwards depending on wich gear im in. before i go and purchase another transmission are there some things i need to check first? the clutch was not slipping beforehand and is not slipping now. thanks.

I am selling my car and on the title i accidently signed my name in the Dealer/Wholesaler/Auction section. I scratched that out and then signed my name in the correct section. Will the DMV take the title like that or do i have to go get a correction form?

I own a 97 Yamaha YZF1000 (aka Thunderace) and I need to change the speed sensor on the front wheel. so I need to know if I can jack the bike up safely? Underneath the engine seems to be all exhaust pipes. I dont see any frame bar etc to put the jack under. The exhaust pipes are sturdy but can they hold the bikes weight with out being bent? I cant afford a front stand, any help from someone experienced in this would be great. thanks in advance.

what would cause this truck to not want to back up?we thought carrier bearing,but we changed it and the truck still wont back up.if you try to back it up,it seems like something is holding it back,you have to try a million times to back er up once in a while it will back up but only if you go from drive to reverese quickly over and over.what is wrong?do you think it could be the rear end going out?
