I have had my insurance policy and have been paying monthly installments since the end of June (have not missed nor have been late on any payments) BUT they have still not sent me an insurance cover note, I have called and called and they have promised to send it but to no avail. I havent been able to tax my car (ran out end of sept) so has been sat on my drive for nearly a month now unable to be used..... what can I do - where do i stand with the ins company?!?! Am I liable for any compensation from them due to their sheer lack of service?!

Thanks x

Im not looking for kits to increase cubes or build a stroker i just want the entire engine completely disassembled. i understand that there wouldnt be a warranty due to the possibility of incorrect assembly etc. im poor and am hoping to save money on bike parts, plus building it would be the best part. Ive looked on the Web but no luck also any brand of harley "clone" would be perfect i have mechanical ability but not the experience to know which parts to buy or what combos work well HELP

If you take a trip to the edge of space, 110 km. up, just beyond the legally-defined boundary of space, which is 100 km., so you're a space traveller, the craft you'll fly in, run by Sir Richard Branson's company, is lifted to a higher altitude than ordinary airliners fly by a very expensive custom built aircraft before they turn on the juice. 55000 feet is 19 Km ; a small fraction of the altitude you need. Why not just use the spacecraft and dispense with the other vehicle? You'd only need to carry about 20% more fuel. It would be much cheaper, surely?

I may soon be travelling on the high speed east coast mainline UK trains. I wanted definitive info on the size and capacity of the overheard luggage rack. I have a smallish wheeled suitcase that I want to put above.

The RAH-66 Comanche stealth Scout/Reconisence Attack helicopter is being replace with unmaned aerial vehicles. Should the world most powerful helicopter be replaced even before it gets put out by these little military grade RC airplane toys?

I have had my 98 Chrysler T&C for 6 months now, and have gone through 3 sets of tires on the front end due to excessive wear on the inside and outside shoulders of the tires. This is the first vehicle that I've owned that has traction control. Could it be I'm not used to traction control, or that I'm too used to driving little cars and not big vans? Or could it actually be a REAL problem with something on my van, because it does pull to the left but I have never really paid attention until now (steel showing on inside of tires, and a nail in one that I don't want to take out for fear of a flat).

I'm somewhat interested in them, but haven't driven one yet. I was surprised to see that, until the 2008 alpha, they didn't have a V8 option. They only came with chevy's 5 cylinder. I think it has something like 220 hp and 230 pft of torque, which isn't bad, but that small engine seems like so little for such a large vehicle. I'm driving a grand cherokee with an inline 6 right now, and it feels pretty underpowered itself, but its also considerably smaller with a similiar powered engine. I'm worried that the H3 is even worse. Wha are your opinions?

Just after I had my oil changed at a quick lube garage, my Element (41,000 miles) began to make a rapid thumping or tapping noise when stopped at traffic lights. It goes away in Park or Neutral, but it's pretty loud in the passenger compartment. It sounds like it's coming from the engine compartment.

Any ideas on what may be causing it? (Please let me know why you think so, too.)
