It is a fine vehicle, elegant and powerful. The wonderful deep bass throbbing sound of the exhaust is very different from other bikes of this class. You should go for it without hesitation, provided no heavy expenses are presently required for its engine and wheels. It is quite sturdy and suitable for all kinds of road. Looking to your good height , you may find little difficulty in first few days and will get accustomed to it soon.

I'm 6'2" and have no trouble fitting on a Royal Enfield. I really like the looks of them too - classic without copying a Harley or Indian. The only reason I don't have one is that I often take my bike on a very long commute (40 miles, each way!) and the Royal Enfield requires a bit more maintenance than a modern bike (not meant to be a criticism; I'm talking about the scheduled maintenance). It's like buying a brand new '55 Chevy - in both the good and bad ways.

I don't think the size of the bike would be a problem for your height, but why would you want a bike with only 22 horsepower. Don't overlook the brakes, mechanical drum brakes. I would much rather have hydraulic disk brakes. I think you would be much better off with a newer design. Bikes have steadily been improving in reliability, ride quality and handling for the last forty years. The Royal Enfield is the exception to this. They haven't changed much at all.

Good bike!

I am 6'2" and I am long legged, and the bullet fits me fine!

The Royal Enfield is a sturdy bike, and is ideal for country roads.

If you run on the Interstate a lot, you have to take it easy on this bike, because it's weakness is the cylinder head. Just run around 65, and rest the bike every hour, and it is fine Interstate.

These bikes are very retro. They still have points, and are typical of a motorcycle of the 1950's

As a starter bike, it's not bad. The kick starter is your friend on this bike, and it's a bike you need to work on yourself.
