It is more than likely in the switch on your steering column. Those tend to go bad every once and while. What you can do to test and see if it is the motor or the switch is sending a jumper wire from the negative and positive side of the battery to the applicable polarities on the motor. If the motor works then it is more than likely the switch. Also, just to start things out I would double check that the fuse hasn't blown for that circuit.

Since you know that the motor is good now, it could be the fuse or the switch, or even a broken wire.
Until you can get it fixed, try a product called RAIN-X. A lot of street rodders use it, if they don't have windshield wipers on their rods. The water will bead away as long as you are at speed.
Don't delay on this repair too long, it is dangerous, if you can't find the problem then take it to a shop and have it fixed.

Could be a fuse, or something electrical. Check up in your manual for fuses in that area ..

check the fuses if they are good it may be the switch on the column. plug a good one and try it.
