You probably could....the question is how expensive and difficult it would be.

If you want more power, look at doing an engine swap from a Taurus SHO. Depending on the year, they had powerful drivetrains either from a Yamaha 6-cylinder or a Ford V-8. That'd be a much easier swap since it's from the same kind of car. Or you could just buy a Taurus SHO....that'd be the easiest of all.

It takes a bit of tweaking but it can be done.

My neighbour put a hemi in a Lincoln Continental (similar Ford body type) a couple of years ago. It's a sweet vehicle now.

It depends on how deep your pockets are and what you want to do after it's done. You can put any engine you want into any car body with the proper frame modifications. It all comes down to how much $$$ you have to spend.
