when you can't find your dam car keys! I need em and can't find them...looked in all the obvious places...help!!

If your car is newer, most dealers can make one from your #vin now. Most times I misplace my keys I had something else on my mind when I put them down. If you were doing something when you misplaced them then they might be under a coat or package you brought in. Top of the fridge, between the seats of a couch or wrapped up in the bed sheets?

I found mine in the phone book one day because I set them down on the open book then closed it then put the book away. I also found them in a saucepan under the counter in the kitchen because my 2 year old daughter got them and hid them. Yet another time my older daughter hung them up on a peg in a different room than I left them in and I didn't know it. Check in the front door lock or the car door lock. I've found them there as well. Sometimes when you have a lot of crap to carry you forget to take them out of the lock.

I get my spare set of keys and wait for the others to finally make an appearance.

Check all pockets of anything worn yesterday, Check any drawers that you might have opened The floor of your closets. any mail left from yesterday,they might be underneath them. Bathroon , clothes hampers , and the car itself. and then I grab a spare set always hanging on a hook in the kitchen.

The "key" is to find your spares and then when you do, your other keys will magically reappear right where you left them last.

pockets, including the pockets from yesterdays pants. on top of the fridge, on the floor under the fridge, under the toaster, actually in the car. in my daughters hands. in my wifes handbag

re-trace your steps...and always go back and check the car
