the car is a 1994 cadilac eldorado. North Star. I asked a machanic at a local car dealership and he said it was under the firewall. I looked but I cant see anything that looks like the part I am suppost to be instaling. Please anyone who might know the anwser get back to me its getting cold out and withought this part I wont have any heat this winter.......Thanks

They are usually attached to the heater ductwork either under the hood, back by the firewall on the passenger side or under the dash inside the car also in the ductwork---passenger side or by the blower motor. May be best to get a service manual like Chilton or Haynes to show where it goes. Parts stores carry them for around 25.00 or some libraries may have them for free or go online to Eautorepair.net for online access...small fee. The blower resistor only controls the low speeds so for high speed, you'll have to buy a relay. Are you sure the switch is ok and the blower motor? If all else fails, you could run a new wire from the blower to a switch you install on or under the dash and run a wire from that to a power source like the fuse block...make sure you put an inline fuse holder in the wire or tap off a fused terminal in the fuse block. Did that once or twice in my life as a cheapskate.
