I signed a contract for a vehicle on Saturday. The dealership called me today and told me that the finance company will not finance the car because I added a warranty and tag, title, and tax, which drove the price up. These were options that the finance manager gave to me when signing the contract.

The dealership wants me to come back in and take the warranty off of it, but I would like to keep the warranty for obvious reasons (it's a used car)... I've been told that we both have 3 days to cancel the contract, so I'm not sure if today constitutes 3 days. I'd say I signed it at around 6pm Saturday and he called me today at around 4pm...

My first thought is to tell them that it's their problem and that they're going to have to drop the price of the car in order for the finance company to finance it, but I'm not sure if they're still in time to just cancel the contract....

Last night my car (1994 Mazda protege) honked one long consistent honk for no reason. It only stopped after opening the door twice. No one was in the car, it had been untouched and park for hours. It also does not have an alarm, nothing but the horn went off. This also happened like 3 days before this one did in the same situation, only the horn; no lights or anything else was going on. Also the emergency brake light stays on while driving even if the brakes off. It will stay on for maybe 10 mins or so. All of this just started going on within the past week. I'm sure my neighbors are pissed as hell lol

So, is there any common fix for this or any theories to whats wrong?

I am selling my car to a relative. The sale price is $5,000.00. They are putting down $1,000.00, then making payments of $500 per month until the balance is paid (8 total).

I have prepared a promissary note, etc. for legal purposes. Should I hold on to the title until I am paid in full? Reason tells me "yes", but how should documentation (DMV, etc.) be handled in the interim, so that the relative can legally use the car for the next 8 months?

Hey guys need advice have a 02 1.8 laguna only building about 7 bar compression a cylinder 1 and about 13 bar in the rest.Put some oil in and brought it up to about 8 bar if even that.Am suspecting a burned exhaust valve maybe but am not pushed on taking the head off as the customer refuses to believe such a new car(5 years old ha)can have such a problem and isnt to big on spending some cash so any advice welcome thanks...

I keep seeing these and i just don't get it. Is it a functional modification? If so, I've racked my brain and can't come up with a good reason. If anything, wouldn't it produce more drag? 01 Hyundai Tiburon, driver side window will not roll up. i took the panel off and found that something was wrong with the cable that pulls the window. the problem was with a pulley that just wouldnt move the cable at all. Cable is fine, just wont move and i dont want to force it. can a regular mechanic check this out or do i need someone special....if so, who?

My 1985 Greenwood Corvette has not been driven since 1999. I have a new Corvette 350 motor for it, new gas tank, new brake system, new radiator and new Power Steering Pump. I spoke with the Automotive teacher who will take in this car and over the next 2-3 months, his class will instlal the parts and repair the car and in general use the car as a class project. There is nothing wrong with the interior or exterior. It's just that the car hasn't been driven in 8 years. What level of service should I expect? I'm expecting that when they're finished, I can go there and drive the car home with no problem.
