I know the speed limit is the same in all lanes, but the far left lane is designated as a "passing lane" and used to pass slower vehicles. If you are not passing and are driving the speed limit (or under the speed limit), why would you drive in the far left hand lane? I can never figure this one out.

My Grandfather had this 1988 Maxima which he bought new. This car was the top of the line version with power sunroof, leather, and duel exhaust. He traded in the car in 1992 and I was wondering how I would find this car or if it still existed.

My daughter took out insurance for her car via the internet. As she understood it, to make one payment, then a further £400 at the end of the month, but the company took the whole lot from her account, leaving her with bank charges for an overdraft she can ill afford. She has phoned them, and requested the replace the money back in her account, and they have said its impossible to do this. Can ANYTHING be done?!?!

I want a good wax that I can use by hand that will give my Nissan Sentra (black) a good shine. Something that will last for a few months, and isn't too expensive. Also, some instruction on how to do it would be helpful, as this is my first time doing it on my own. Any suggestions would be very helpful, and I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

OK you lot, today at work I have got a Deauville on the ramp. It sparodically keeps cutting out. It does not cut out after a certain amount of miles, at a certain rev range /speed, in any particular traffic conditions or after any particular length of time.
It runs fine for 2-3 weeks, then without warning it "chugs" to a standstill. It will start up again and run happily after a 10 minute rest. Other times it apparently stops twice in 2 days.
I have checked the fuel pressure and output - 2.5psi and 1200ml / min, checked the compression hot and cold, checked the valve clearances, run it up for hours to check the coils are not failing when hot - resistance is within tolerance, put a scope on the fuel pump ECU feed - good, strong, regular peaks with no "tails" or outages to speak of.
It runs as sweet as a nut when it is running and I plan to take it for a long test run tommorrow. Any ideas before I do this?
I still feel it is a fuel problem.

I am just curious as to how "new" this will make my Toyota V6 3.0 engine. It currently has around 160,000 miles on it. Will it make it last a lot longer now? (Obviously it would if it had gone bad, but I am asking if by putting a new one on there, if it would make the engine a lot "newer" now or not)

why?

As an engineer who has to go many places around the US working with many other engineers and scientist, I noticed something...

Virtually NONE of them drive a large SUV/TRUCK...and when you look into the parking lots...cars...and more cars...hardly a truck and SUV in sight.

How can we get these people on the bandwagon with the rest of us...10-12 MPG.

You know, I go camping once a year....that 1/2 million dollar Camper sure looks...

I recently changed my clutch master cylinder in my 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T (non turbo). After I finished the installation and put everything back together I tried to start it up. It ran really rough and immediately stalled a couple times. After looking around I finally figured out that I forgot to attach the wiring harness to my Mass Air Flow sensor off the air filter. After reattaching the wiring harness my car started up fine and idled really good. However, after driving it for awhile it would immediatley stall when you put the clutch in or when you take the foot off the gas. This has been going on for over 60K now and I cant stop at a stop light without revving my engine. I have no idea what it could be... HELP

Ive got a tzr 125 1989 and am desperately looking for some touch up paint to cover the dinks and rusty bits (that's pretty much the whole bike then..!)
Its the blue version (the other was red and white) with small yellow stripes to the tank etc.
Im searching high and low for some paint stockists, even for the paint codes (as Halfords say they can try to match it if they have the code) but having squat diddly luck at the moment.
Any ideas?? Thanks!
