I recently changed my clutch master cylinder in my 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T (non turbo). After I finished the installation and put everything back together I tried to start it up. It ran really rough and immediately stalled a couple times. After looking around I finally figured out that I forgot to attach the wiring harness to my Mass Air Flow sensor off the air filter. After reattaching the wiring harness my car started up fine and idled really good. However, after driving it for awhile it would immediatley stall when you put the clutch in or when you take the foot off the gas. This has been going on for over 60K now and I cant stop at a stop light without revving my engine. I have no idea what it could be... HELP

You have been driving it for over 60K like that? Disconnect the negative wire on the battery for 1 minute and then reconnect. See if that will reset the computer. If it does the same thing, you may need to have it looked at with diagnostics.

applying carb cleanser to scrub the throttle physique is volatile. applying carb cleanser interior the IAC is purely soliciting for complication. The carb cleanser if it gets into the IAC will dissolve the lacquer coating around the electrical powered windings which make the IAC regulate and artwork. while those windings short out, they have been established to wreck the european. i could take the vehicle to a Mitsubishi broking and function them use the Mutt II Mits scanner to confirm the engine data and specifically the readings for the IAC stepper motor. If the motor is undesirable, replace it and desire the european nevertheless sends instructions to the IAC. they ought to verify that the european is sending the command in the previous changing the IAC so which you already know how lots $$$ you're finding at. there is an auxillary air valve that would improve your idle. this is placed on the throttle physique on the fringe of the air cleanser connection. Turning it out or counter-clockwise will advance the idle.the choose arises to unplug the IAC to be sure you do no longer fry the european. in case you eliminate the IAC and flow away it linked to the wiring harness, it is going to flow each and every time you turn the ignition on. Have a chum turn the substantial to the on place jointly as you watch the IAC plunger. you do no longer ought to start the vehicle. you ought to nevertheless flow to the broking to confirm the instructions from the european in case you do have a bad IAC that doesn't flow. do no longer disconnect the battery or turn the substantial on with the IAC disconnected or you will set a code and deceive a mechanic that scans for codes. i've got seen human beings replace the timing belt and screw up the crankshaft sensor wiring that runs at the back of the crankshaft pulley. there's a plastic clip that idiots do no longer placed decrease back on which permits the wiring to rub by means of on the spinning crankshaft pulley. this could reason intermittent motor shrink out.The IAC circuit shouldn't reason the motor to shrink out jointly as using. i could get a sturdy easy and attempt to confirm the wiring. in case you eliminate the indoors splash panel at the back of the drivers area front tire the wiring for the crankshaft sensor is in the direction of the front of the vehicle or to the left of the crankshaft pulley while viewing it from the fender properly.

You most likely have someting else disconnected and don't know it, could be a vacuum line or electrical plug. Just go over every little place that you worked around and look for something unpluged or broke.

Check to see if you have coke (sludge) build up in the throttle body around the throttle plate. Clean it with throttle body cleaner. Other wise, the automatic idle speed motor is sludged up or needs replaced.
