an airliner flying next to mount Everest would almost crash into it!! Do different airliners fly at different altitudes depending on where they fly? Bonus question- how long does it take for the average airliner taking off to reach cruising altitude? I've seen videos of airliners departing on YouTube and it seems that (even after 10+ minutes of climbing) they never quite reach those really high clouds (the ones that are not fluffy like cotton).

Ok so here it is I got a 78 monte carlo about a month and a half ago because the cutlass was taking up to much money and time so it will have to wait for a little bit. But anyways I got a 78 monte carlo for 1000 bucks. its pretty nice body was in fair condition along with paint engine ran good but smokes a little. interior is decent but needs some work. But the main thing Im curious about is whats under the hood the owner did not want to get rid of the car at all so I didnt ask anything about it so he wouldnt change his mind. but the engine has an rpm performer intake,carb maybe a cam not sure. no headers dont know why but they kept exuast manifolds and a custom exuast set up. I was wondering if it was the original engine or if they swaped it out any idea how to tell the diffrence between an 305 and a 350?

i was told that all a pcv is used for is to let the engine vent. well the set up i want to do is this: use a oil cap on one valve cover and a breather cap on the other cover is this set-up ok?

Heya we have a 1994 jeep wrangler that we have recently had to get it smogged to get it on base. The vehicle was overseas for 2 yrs. Once it got home it sat, never driven for 1.2 years with the same full tank of fuel it had over a yr ago. Also the oil hasnt been changed in over 2 years. The tech mentioned how old is the fuel in it, but he never said much else about what the problem could be. Everything else passed on it except the NO PPM. Just wondering if you guys had any ideas Thanks in advance.

The car in front slammed on the brakes, I "scuffed" the rear bumper and 2 very minor scratches that can be removed without taking to the shop. Of course they are trying to suck out the money out...there was no police report and no witnesses, she did get a hold of my driver license and insurance though. She is now however trying to get all the money she can out of me saying that she needs between $1,200 - $1,600, when her car does not need a bumper replaced! What can I do? I feel it's not resanable.

1. I NOT ONLY RENTED A CAR, BUT THEY UPGRADED ME FROM A CHEVY AVEO TO A CHRYSLER CHARGER. LOL

Help guys...I was in a minor fender 2 days ago and it was his fault. He told me not to call the cop cuz he didnt have license..it was at like 12midnight so i didnt. After he left 2mins later i called the cops and he ran his plate..Today i called my insurance company and they said that he didnt have insurance. My husband was on a dark highway, a road he has travelled every night for 3 years. He came up to a stop light and began to slow down, it turned green so he sped back up.( there was no vehicles at the stop light, or anywhere around ) he looked down at his spedometer coming up to the light, looked up, a few seconds later, almost right after the stop light, he saw the outline of a big truck ( he believes it was a black dump truck that was either stopped or going extremly slow, he saw no lights) he hit his brakes but was to close to do any good.He hit it going 55 (not speeding) He was ticketed for careless driving, shattered his femur,broke 2 bones in his foot and bruised a lung.The car was totaled and we only had liability (work car) I guess I am wondering how we can find out if the truck is at fault. lights not on? stopped on the highway?ect..Does anyone have experience with this situation? It just doesnt seem right.
