If you can't pay the judgment, don't drive. No, the person isn't "out for blood", it there is a judgment the court heard the case and made an unbiased decision that you owed the amount they asked for, or it wouldn't have reached the point it reached.

If you need your license to work, some states will allow you to have a license for going to and from work only, so check out that possibility.

Your best bet though would be to clear the debt and get your full license back. Perhaps you could borrow from a relative and pay them back? Or perhaps sell something to get some money?

Contact the courts and see if you can make payment arrangements, agreeing to pay a set amount each month. You will not be able to get your license back until the judgment is paid in full, and the judgment will remain in your credit file for several years even after full payment.

Approach the court to set up a payment plan. Pointing out that you need your licence so you can work, otherwise the judgement will never be paid.

Take the bus and take another job until you can get caught up with the debt. Once you get the guy paid off, then you can get your driver's license back. See if you can borrow the money from family or friends until you get back on your feet.

good luck.

God forbid they want their money back for the damage you caused. You deserve every second of this.

You dont deserve to be on the road and causing more damage utnil youve paid for what you already caused.

Take the bus, get a job, and pay it off. I cant believe youd try to get out of it.

My brother grew to become into sent to penal complex for 2 weeks for making use of with a suspended license. He did have a checklist and his purely previous run ins with the regulation have been rushing tickets. He grew to become right into a minor and the decide grew to become into brutal. He lost his interest and it grew to become into undesirable. do no longer force till you get your license renewed its purely no longer nicely worth it.
