I understand that Rap artists have a penchant for being showy. Every other music video depicts them riding around bling'd out cars.
But seriously, why do they have to pick on luxury UK cars, which have been synonimous with well to do, entrepenuers and business leaders for so many years. Twenty years ago, Rolls Royce would have refused to sell their cars to people who they might have thought would lower the tone of what their company symbolised. Aston Martin used to call in any prospective buyers to test their skills before selling a car to them. That's why, twenty years ago 99% of all Astons ever sold, were still on the road. They were respected by their owners. These days, they are given ridiculous wheels, paint jobs and interior colour schemes that any normal person would baulk at.

It proves the point. Many Americans simply do not have taste. It's all about showing the world just how much money you have.

Look at me! I spent $200,000 on a car, and another $100,000 ruining it!

This related to my previous question about 1991 Camry overheat problem. After replaced head gasket, torque to spec, the car is still overheat. Timing to spec, super flush twice, both fans wrok. If I turn on the heater, then, temperature will return to normal...but, outside right now is 90+ degree...not very pleasent. Water pump/radiator/thermostat are new. It will overheat when I started driving the car about 10 minutes...if started and let it idle, then, it seems would not. It is a puzzle to me.

To Teach Respect....So we are big and slower than most other Vehicles does that give you the right to cut in front of us, to stop us from using the overtaking lane.
How long would it take if we had a all out STRIKE for you to ***** that there is no food in the Stores or Petrol for your cars that only transport one person to and from your place of work or other places, or BEER at your local Pub, or Airplanes grounded because they don't have fuel so now you can't have that holiday.
There are a lot of new and younger drivers as well as people for the EU who seam to think they have the right of way, and they don't need to use there Indicators and I have also notice that the Police are just as bad.
And yes there are some trucks drivers who are just as bad as you.
Who are you, You are the people on scooters, bikes, cars, Vans, wide cars that need more of the road than a truck, drivers who can't see in the dark so they drive around with the main beam on, need I say more.

I'm 18 years old and am in love w/ the 600R. I'm currently riding a 500cc cruiser but was planning on getting the YZF after I finished college in under 3 years. I went to the site and for 2008, its not among the models. Honda doesn't list the 600F4I anymore either? Does this mean anyone who wants a performance 600 without back problems is going to be out of luck from here on out?

I am surprised how a Holden having a 6L, V8 having 360 Horse Power and Mitsubishi EVO having 2L, 4Cylinder Turbo Charged having 280 Horse power can beat Holden easily.

I mean, is it something to do with the Enginer / HP /Torque / or something which they usually call it "strokes" ? What makes a Car really Go Go Go !!!

I was going through a busy intersection and about 20 feet past the light a cop decides to pull me over...but this is a busy street and no real place to immediately pull over so I drive about another 50 yards and pull over into a parking lot and then he asks "why didn't you pull over earlier". I told him I didn't really want to stop in the middle of busy traffic. Next time should I pull over in the middle of a busy intersection or do what I did?

Driving on the left is correct for right-handed people the great majority, here is why:

When changing gear in a UK car with the steering wheel on the right , this is of course correct in the UK etc for driving on the left--------your left hand changes gear and your right hand stays on the steering wheel, (this is safer for right handed people.)

The reverse is the case in countries where one must drive on the right.-- in other words if you live in the USA you hold the steering wheel with your left hand and change gear with your right hand because of course the steering wheel is on the left in the USA--------this is dangerous if you are right handed.

Bicycles: Bike riders are in real danger in countries where driving on the right is mandatory again assuming you are right handed----Try mounting a bike in the USA and you will find yourself in the stream of traffic when getting on the bike---- try it yourself---------: Mounting a bike in the UK is done from the sidewalk by right handed people who find it easier to put their right leg over the bike. , Much safer and this must have saved many lives.

Reversing up a steep drive: My drive in the UK is very steep----------when I reverse out I hold the steering wheel with my right hand and look over my left shoulder to the rear window. In a USA car you must hold the steering wheel with your left hand and look over your right shoulder to look out of the rear window.. So you must reverse with your left hand on the steering wheel.. Or stick your head out of the window if you want to use your right hand on the steering wheel. ---Dangerous for the 82% right handed majority.

Right handed people who are also "right eyed" have the traffic coming toward them on their right in left hand driving areas , which is the way "right eyed" people are able to react better. When overtaking on a right hand driving USA road the right eyed/handed driver looks in the mirror with the left eye and also views the oncoming traffic with the left eye. A change of gear is sometimes needed to overtake so he/she is driving left handed while changing gear with the right hand and looking in the mirror and oncoming traffic with the left eye. Of course the gear change should in theory be completed before pulling out but this in practice is not always the case. The prevalence of automatic gear change in the USA may not be just luxury after all but necessity

I just bought a sentra. It had a bad master switch for the windows. Had it replaced. Now I've discovered that the instrument cluster doesn't illuminate with the head lights on. It did this before the m/s changeout. I'd like to change out the dimmer switch in the dash, usually a rotating switch like this one will have some kind of drag to it when ya roll it and it has none. I'd like to change it out first before I do the switch in the steering column.Whats the trick to getting it out?? Do I pry away the bezel and the switch comes forward? thanks

Here's the deal: I have a used car that I am paying $320 a month (for a used car this is a bit much). I can afford this however but I'd just like to cut my monthly bills. Although all 24 months have been paid for (so 24 months left). The total lease was for 48 months. Do I talk to the car dealer I bought my car from or do I just start re-searching for a refinancing company?

A few days ago my blazer died while backing out of my driveway but immediately started back up. It died again later that day while pulling into a gas station. One day it sputtered while driving down the road. I changed the fuel filter and that didnt solve the problem (its never that simple). When I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump humming and also did a fuel pressure check and its pumping 50 p.s.i. constantly so I eliminated the fuel pump. I'm not sure what to check for next. Any suggestions?

Give me your favorite sea-faring chant, phrase, or saying. I heard one today that was interesting, "Put wind in my sails and I'll take the world!"

Make something up, if you want! I'm just interested to hear something from the prespective of a sailor, as, clearly, I am not.

I have a problem with my 1992 honda accord lx. I was very low on gas and heading to the gas station. 2 blocks away from the station I ran out of gas. After adding a few gallons of gas to my Honda I'm unable to get it started. The car appears to be turning over fine. I can hear the fuel pump engage. I can even smell the gas when I get impatient in trying to get it started. I had a issue with the main relay. That has been fixed in the parking lot where its currently sitting.

So far I have changed the main relay and the fuel filter. What should I check next??

Thanks.

Steve
