I just bought a sentra. It had a bad master switch for the windows. Had it replaced. Now I've discovered that the instrument cluster doesn't illuminate with the head lights on. It did this before the m/s changeout. I'd like to change out the dimmer switch in the dash, usually a rotating switch like this one will have some kind of drag to it when ya roll it and it has none. I'd like to change it out first before I do the switch in the steering column.Whats the trick to getting it out?? Do I pry away the bezel and the switch comes forward? thanks

That is how the switch comes out. Held at the top and bottom with plastic fingers. Pry at top hold and pry at bottom work it out of the hole. Did you check the fuses first?
