Last night my car (1994 Mazda protege) honked one long consistent honk for no reason. It only stopped after opening the door twice. No one was in the car, it had been untouched and park for hours. It also does not have an alarm, nothing but the horn went off. This also happened like 3 days before this one did in the same situation, only the horn; no lights or anything else was going on. Also the emergency brake light stays on while driving even if the brakes off. It will stay on for maybe 10 mins or so. All of this just started going on within the past week. I'm sure my neighbors are pissed as hell lol

So, is there any common fix for this or any theories to whats wrong?

try checking the horn relay...a little moisture can cause the troubles you are having

You could have a wire that has the insulation skinned in the steering column. You can pull the wire going to the horn until you get it fixed. That way your neighbors won't be waking up at night.

good luck.
