Why are Mustang V6's so slow? I drive an Altima SE-R and I smoke them on a regular basis. Just wondering why they have such a lack of power.

Lots of road courtesy has gone by the wayside over the last decade...and cellphones are not the only culprit to blame. Drivers' education, respect for fellow man (or woman), and lack of proper highway policing are indeed also to be mentioned.

However, I'm specifically curious as to what happened to that good old courtesy of flashing headlights at oncoming drivers approaching a police speed-trap that one driver has just passed. Do you remember the day and age where you couldn't drive anywhere at night without someone flashing you about the police up ahead?

Ok, my neighbor has a 1987 yamaha dirt bike. we know very
little about it, and he needs to know the engine size. We called Yamaha and gave then the VIN - no help there, he needs the model #. Well if there is a model # on that bike then we are blind cause we can't find it. I know VIN's on cars are coded, so i tried to google that, nothing. This bike needs some work, but it's hard to get parts when ya don't know what you need.
here are all the numbers we could find on this bike:

1RH-015948

YAM1RH0223

65086222

7-8220089

JYA1RH002HA015948

Any help or resources are greatly appreciated and thank you for reading my long post.

Does it take freon and can I get freon anywhere? Is there an easy fix for these air conditioning systems? An ackit maybe?

I've looked through the little seeing glass of the receiver and I see no bubbles or anything so I think I'm out first of all. But how do I get it working from here?

I live near Burlington in Burlington County New Jersey. My car's passenger side window was smashed and I was advised to go to a dump but I don't know where to find one, how much it will cost, and if there will be an installation fee. Please help!

I have a 01 YZF600R, riding home from work one daying doing about 65mph, and I noticed the oil light came on shortly for about 10 seconds, it did that twice. I changed the oil less than 2,000 miles ago, and I don't do burnouts or wheelies or hole shots, and it don't appear to be leaking any oil. Has this ever happened to anyone, any idea of what might be going on, think it's still safe to ride?

We have a camera light outside of our neighborhood. When I try to turn right to get into my neighborhood, but the light is red, it flashed me. I have been waiting for the ticket in the mail for a week now. There was no traffic going in that direction, will I get a ticket? I thought making a red was legal if there is no traffic coming.

The A/C compressor broke in my car about a few months ago and it's going to cost me about $500-$600 to buy a new one then another $80-$100 to put it in my car. This is way too much money but at the same time it's so hot here in AZ..(temps. 104-115). Do any of you know any alternatives I can do to keep myself cool while driving while I save up enough to buy the compressor?

On our 2005 Malibu there is a button on the driver's side of the gear shift. It has a + and - sign. There's no mention of it in the manual which came with the car. When it's pushed there doesn't seem to be any reaction and no symbol appears on the dash panel. We'd like to know what it does if anyone can help.

Well long story short my car is becoming very unreliable and its fairly new. its a 2002 hyundai accent. The warranty is up and its becoming extrmely expensive to keep it running. I still owe more on the car than it is worth as far as a trade in and i have no extra money to put down on a new car. if i went to a dealer i would try to keep my payments below 250. the car is in my mothers name however i have a little credit and it is good so co-signing is an option. should i lease a car, buy one, keep fixing this one. i tried to sell it outright but i cant get what i owe for it.advice please.

Does it make sense to pay more for an older (2004ish) luxury car (i.e. BMW, Acura, Volvo) or pay about the same for a newer (2006 or 2007) non-luxury car? I'm wondering if the quality of a BMW, Acura or Volvo sort of balances out the fact that it is an older car...? But I guess repairs would be more expensive for a luxury car...
