Well I can't tell you how it will look or what is the average age but I recently went to a VW dealer where my friend works, since I was interested in the rabbit and she told me that it was a good choice and that the Jetta is the car that has the most problems. You see a lot more Jettas coming back to the dealer because of manufactures problems than any other VW. Good luck. Look Carefully.

I wouldn't say the Jetta is too mature. A Ford 500 maybe, but not a Jetta. If you like it and can afford it, get it. But, as with any major purchase, be sure to do your homework before you sign on the dotted line. Check out some VW forums to get the real scoop on any quality issues.

I was 30-something when I got my VW Jetta. But, I have a 16 & 20-yr. old nephew(s) that totally think the car is COOL and knowing I'm up to sell here soon, they are arguing & fighting over it... w/their parents to buy. Dude, looking a bit mature can also look oh so, very cool!

Not too mature at all, but it sure is sophisticated.
If you wan't to know who drives them, pop by the forum below.
Lots of VW owners and experiences there.
Make sure you see the pictures of what some ppl can do with a Jetta. Throw some cool rims on, tint, spoiler, lower her a couple of inches, and you'll have a SWEET ride!
(I'm not talking over-done, over-customized here. The best ones are the subtle ones)

Regardless of your age, whatever car that you like is the appropriate car for you.
I would advise against a VW of any type because of the repair issues. You must take a VW to a VW dealer for even a simple oil change. My friend has one and luckily lives 1/2 mile from the dealer but when she broke down in VT she had to have it towed 2 hrs to a dealer to be fixed. If she had allowed her husband or another shop to fix it the warranty would have been voided.
Good luck and check out Hyundai's. The have great warranties, some are very nice looking and you can get them fixed anywhere without affecting the warranty.
