Let us remember Thomas, his iphone and how he died as he was driving and ran into the back of a stopped flatbed truck at seventy miles per hour just after his phone rang.

What does having it be an "iPhone" have to do with the price of tea...?

Rather you are okay with using a phone while driving or not, does it really make any difference at all what brand of phone it is?

I guess you could make a case for a hands free phone, but I doubt that really even makes much of a difference.

Put your phones away and drive. Pretty simple procedure. If someone calls, they will either leave a message or their call wasn't very important. If you are going to use the phone pull over. I think there should be a safety feature in every vehicle that as soon as the vehicle is started it disables all cell phones in the vehicle.

As long a you can do it and keep one eye on the rear view mirror to notice the traffic piling up behind you and move over.
I say go for it. Just remember to get out of the way of people actually driving.

Jon's answer is exactly why I'm against it. One eye on the mirror, the other on the phone? What about what's in front?

Or the guy on the motorcycle you just creamed?
