it works as a cigarette lighter, but anything I buy that has a car charger with it, it doesn't work.... I thought if it worked as a cigarette lighter, it would work as a charger? Am I just being dumb or is there a simple answer to this?

Returning motorcyclist. Away from riding too long . . . approximately 20 years. Now at 47, I am wanting to ride again. I have my eyes on a older Goldwing, and I am wanting to know if I can manage a Goldwing. I owned a FS CB750 sport in the day and rode on occasion a friend's KZ1100. Is it worth my time going to a dealer and ask to testride a Wing?

It is a 4-door with a straight-6 (250) and a manual 3-speed (column shift) tranny. The original color is avacado green. I plan on getting the paint and body done, but after that, should I shoot to keep it stock or drop a new motor? It has only 72,000 miles on it. Please help with my options and pros and cons for each.

I have a 2003 PT Cruiser with rear drum brakes (no ABS). I want the rear brakes to lock up when I pull the emergency/parking brake lever all the way up. This seems to be the norm on most cars - I have set the adjuster to where the drums will actually drag a little (probably a little more than you should but not sure) and the lever will still pull all the way up without locking the wheels, at a stand still or while driving. I have a parking break that does not hold - the transmission in park does a better job.

This is also somewhat of a performance issue - I need to be able to do this for evasive driving etc. (Job). Any ideas on upgrading brakes? I have ceramic pads and slotted rotors on the front. Possible to upgrade drum brakes?

SHe has a 1995 Toyota Camry and says when she slows down and hits the brakes, it shakes all over like crazy. I sent her to the local auto repairman and they said her brakes were fine. They said they had some dirt on them and they cleaned the brakes and charged us $25 bucks.
Now she say her car still shakes when she hits the brakes and slows down.
Are we missing something here?

98 chevy tahoe parking lamps are not working. I have changed the fuses every time i turn the lamps on the fuse blows out. I also smell a burnt smell.

I have a 2006 F150 5.4L 3valve. I have added an Airaid Intake and a 40 series Flowmaster sido catback. This truck is still lagging severly and I am wondering if anyone has any advice on how to squeeze some more power out of it before I go and trade it in on a mustang.

My 2001 Chevy Silverado daytime running lights are not working. Sometimes the will cut on for a second or two, but they will go right back to the headlights. Could someone please tell me what is the cause of this? I have checked the fuses and all are fine. Thanks!

My dad is an EXTREMELY back woods dad that only beleives in getting me a dodge or a Chevy for my 16th birthday. I REALLY want a Honda Civic and he disagrees by saying "I don't beleive in any of that foreign stuff." I want a car, but ya'll know how bad a junky dodges are, and that's what he has his mind set to.
