i like the way you begin with your modifications.... keep on going with some pulleys, programmers, and at the end you can add a nice supercharger on it.
when it comes to a supercharger, you need to choose between the procharger (centrifugal), Whipple, Rush and saleen.
my best recommendation is the saleen supercharger because it will make 450 horsepower (150hp over stock) on your engine. and it uses only 5psi of boost, which is never bad or stressful for the engine.
by the way, saleen is launching a 2007 f150 with saleen supercharger into production in 2007 and it's becoming the fastest production truck.... but the price of $ 65 000 is not making it worth of it.
so just add a saleen supercharger on it for $7 000 and have the fastest truck ever and be happy.....

If your Airaid intake uses an open element filter, you are pulling in hot air from under the hood which will make less power. Try one from Outlaw Power. Theirs pulls cool air in from the fenderwell. I have one on my 2001 F150.
A programmer like a Diablosport Predator will help and give you a noticable boost in power. I have one of those too.

The biggest problem with the F150 isn't power, it's weight. It easily weighs 500 lbs more than a comparable Chevy or TOYota pickup. What is lacks in acceleration it makes up in actually be able to support a load. Try a power programmer.

Let me throw in something else that one answer touched lightly on. Ford in particular tends to use Numerically low rear axle ratios on the smaller engines..for one thing,,Fuel economy. Take a look at what your axle ratio is. Below 3:55 and you will have good economy but poor performance. Sorry but the above modifications are expensive and of little real value, particularly at low end.
Changing to a numerically higher ratio will wake it up...a lot, but, and there is always a but...your gas mileage will suffer. One way to cheaply test this...Put ONLY FOR TEST, smaller diameter tires on it..Note, this will confuse the ABS system, and check performance then.

You are going in the right direction. Since you have done the intake and exhaust. Since you added more air you need to add more fuel and a power programm will help with that, but I think the biggest gain will be gears.

Big difference between a Mustang and a F-150. You can use a programmer to gain some more power out of it.

I'm not trying to put your truck down, but I have never owned a more gutless truck than the 2005 F-150 with the Triton 5.4L.
That truck didn't have enough power to get out of it's own way.
