Do you think the media or public in general seem to have a one sided opinion on truck drivers? Are they ALL cowboys? People are killed in car accidents on a daily basis, yet as soon as a truck is involved, is it automatically seen as the trucks fault?

I have paid £40 to have my car towed to a garage, is it their responsibility to make sure the car is safe from thieves as i have many valuables in the car and am worried that they may not of locked it or set the alarm, i can't ring and check as its closed on a sunday?

My wife want to buy a new Fusion next week. It looks pretty sweet with all the apgrades (lowered suspension, tint, aftermarket spoiler, nice rims/tires, body kit, etc). The problem is that the car is freakin slow. It has a sissy little 3.1L V6 that does NOT haul any kind if ***. Here's the fix:

Does anyone with experience know of a good supercharger that we could put into the Fusion to give it the power it needs? And, would I have to change anything else, like headers? Because a supercharger would void the drivetrain warranty, are there any superchargers that actually come with a warranty to cover drivetrain?

I'm also looking for a CAI to fit the Fusion. They don't make one yet, so what would be the best to take and bend into it? Honda Civic? Thanks for your time.

Most of the time I can start my car and everything is fine. But sometimes I will turn the key and the engine wont start. When I get a jump start it works after 2 mins and for the first time tonight the security light came on after the jump while driving home. When the car is not able to start I am still able to lock my doors and the interior foot lights come on. Do I need a new battery or something else? I just got a sub and amp installed so maybe this is draining too much power? It started after these were installed.. Also on another occasion, my brother took the car out and while he was out trying to start it, it wouldnt. After 15 minutes he finally got it going. Any help is appreciated.

i have a kenwood kd-g511 cd/radio in my car, its about a year old & was wondering if its possible to buy an attachment to convert it into bluetooth so i can listen to my cellphone through the cars speaker.

I had a new head put on my 22re 1994 shortly after it began to burn oil i have takin it back and the mechanic says my rings are gone. my trck doesnt smoke, no oil in water yet i have to add a quart every 350 miles is it worth to fix the rings or at this point get a short block and put my new head on it and if i do that can i get it tested for leaks in the valve train

What is the common speed limit for the major thoroughfares (4 lane street going from one end of town to the other) if it's not a highway? The population of the town would be somewhere around 75,000-150,000.

My guess would be 35 in the main part of the city and 40-45 in the more outskirts area of town.

My mom has a ford taurus, which I believe is a 98. I borrowed her car to go to work, and it is terrible on gas. It is high idled, i was going 20 mph before I ever had to touch the gas. Then at 55 it would randomly kick it up to 65, and then back down (without my doing it). when stopped for more than 30 seconds it would sputter and felt like it was trying to die, although it never did.
She does have 96k on the car, and she uses it to deliver mail, which has caused a lot of wear and tear on the vehicle.
what could be wrong with her car???

I own a 2003 Ford Taurus and it has 106k miles on it, and it drives PERFECTLY and has a very smooth ride. However, I know that these cars have a history of bad transmissions and engines, and even some reliability issues. A lot of people I know still tell me that even though my taurus is newer, it is still not reliable. Are there any defects or problems that the 2000-2007 model year tauruses have turned up with?

I was parallel parking and I accidentally backed up to far into another parked car, fortunately I didn't chip any of my paint. However I got a little bit of their paint on my rear bumper.
