Nope.
The only person I taught to ride was my ex-wife. I gave her a motorcycle too.

Only as a dealer. I sold a new Sportster to a guy who got 1/2 mile away and lost it on gravel on an on ramp. Nothing real bad. Another was a new CB750 that I sold to a guy who made it a mile before a dog went after him and made him wreck. Totaled the bike and messed him up too. Another was a SL350 Honda on/off road. On his first ride off road he hit a support cable for a telephone pole with his face. Not pretty. Left him deaf. As a dealer I could only teach them so much with the limited time and facility I had. There was no MSF course or motorcycle license requirements at that time. I had another customer who had a CB350 and rode like an idiot. He quickly traded up to a 750. I told him that he'd better not ride the 750 like he did the 350. The next day while speeding a car turned left in front of him and killed him and his GIRLFRIEND. He was survived by his wife and four kids. The guy who hit the wire made me feel really bad because he came in to see me, badly scarred, and kinda blamed me because I sold him the bike.

I work in a motorcycle shop. In the last 4 years and over 500 motorcycles I have had two customers leave the shop and wreck. One was not a huge deal he went into a ditch but managed to keep it up the other was run off the road by a truck. He dropped his new bike with 6.5 kilo meters on it. We do feel bad but these are adults that made the decision to ride.
