My husband wants the sporty one and I don't think it looks like a family car. Also, I heard that the spoiler on the back lowers the gas mileage. Is that true?

I have a car that my 18 year old son drives daily that is in my and a banks name because it has a lien on it. I know that I can not transfer the title to him since it has a lien on it, but is there something that I can do to protect myself in the event of a hit and run etc? The reason I ask is because he is getting ready to move out and I want to him to be responsible of his actions, not me.

Alot of dream of driving or racing ultra-expensive, super high-performance cars. But how how safe are they. At 200+, no airbags can really save you (see crash data stats), but even at street-legal struts, are these cars (airbagless cars like Bugatti Veyron 16.4's, Saleen S7's w/ integrated space frames, Hennessey Vipers,etc.) safe? Flashy is fine, but dismembered is not.

Just a quandary...

Ok I am really confused about the best thing to do. Today I hit someone elses car with mine. He said to me he was taking it to the garage to see what they think it will cost and was unclear if he was just going to go threw with repairs. Now I gave him my insurance details, stupidly wasn't thinking at the time and didn't get his. Now I assume if he just goes ahead and gets his car fixed and I think he is conning me with the cost I then would not be libable to pay anything because he went and got it repaired without me approving anyting. Plus he didn't go threw my isnurance?

Also if he doesn't do this, and claims to my insurance but I don't claim for the damage on my car do I have to pay an excess for his vechile and do I lose my no claims bonus?

I'm looking to update my ride - I currently have a 2001 Lexus RX300, which seems a little "old man" for me. I'm looking at the Nissan Murano or the BMW X3 - any opinions out there? I like the comfort of my RX300 (reliable, good visibility, smooth) but feel like I'm too young (mid-30's) to be driving this car. Pro's and Con's of the X3 or Murano would be great! Thanks!

My friend went on vacation for 2 weeks and left his 2007 Kawasaki xr 14 or gs 14 or what ever it is. He want me to start it every 3 days so that the battery wont die. I cant believe that they cant make a battery for a bike that last more then 3 days. Sounds like nonsense to me. Also, Ive never rode a bike before and I want to try it out and take it up and down the block. Do you think that would be a good idea?

I am looking to buy some street glow interior led or neon lights and i was woundering how do you install and power them to the car for under the dash and under the seats. I says there easy to install so how do you do it (i own a 08 dodge avenger)

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 Litre. Recently sweeping out my Jeep I took out the rear, passenger floor mat and there was a brown/orange stain under the mat, and the mat itself also has a semi-permanent stain imprint on the back of the floor mat.

I suspect that the A/C piping has a leak or is congested and is leaking water underneath the carpeting.

Does anyone know if this could happen, and if so how do I fix it?

Any suggestions?

I already did a port and polish which doesn't make much of a difference. I tried not to over do it because I didn't want to ruin my engine. Is there anything else I can do to get a little more power out of it?

Lost original truck keys for 2001 F150 truck. I had a new key made that unlocks both doors, and ignition but will not start the truck. Computer needs to be programmed to allow this key to start it. I understand that it is not recognizing this key, therefore, computer is not allowing current required to spark it up.
