They certainly can flip. They have a shorter wheelbase for one thing. If you drive carefully around curves and corners and don't take them at 90 mph, then you won't have problems. Basically, be a safe driver.

They're not going to flip in normal driving, but if you have to make an emergency maneuver, then your chances of flipping are considerably higher. The Jeep Wrangler is tall and narrow, which raises its center of gravity. Couple that with the aggressive tires found on most Wranglers, and you will find that, instead of slding sideways, you will be rolling over and over.
The same concept applies to any other similarly designed vehicle.

any car will flip ovreven a corvette. All favorable condition for the flip has to be present for it to be.
The jeep has a much higher flippin.g ratio than most vehicle ecause of it's high center of gravity. The higher the gravity, the easier the displacement nad the easier the flipping.

Only when driven improperly. speed is the big problem with this one. People by these things and think they can drive them at 80 mph and be able to maneuver like a car. When the make that fist quick turn of the wheel the high center of gravity takes over and just flips the jeep. These cars should never be driven at speed faster then 65 mph and then no quick maneuvers. going around turns (Like street corners) should be done at speeds around 10 to 15 MPH.

jeeps sit higher, so they can flip easier, you just have to know your vehicle, and on turns you should be able to better feel how fast yu can go, you can tell by how it leans on the corner. the only time i had a close call was when i was starting around a sharp corner and hit black ice, but it still didn't flip

They don't flip over that easily, they have a wide wheelbase, wider than the body which makes them as stable as a truck that size can be.
