Sure, a little bit, insofar as you actually got to pick it out...
Color, style, make are all a reflection of personal preferences.
Keep in mind, some people don't get much of a choice. My son, for example got the car his dad "found" for him at auction. Once he gets a job and wants to buy one of his own, then it will be a bit of a reflection of him.
All that being said, doesn't it also go beyond the make, model, & color and include how it's kept? Is it kept clean and vaccuumed? Are there bumper stickers all over it? Do stuffed animals line the rear window? All of these things reflect on the owner.

Neither. My vehicle reflects the fact that I'm a 6'2" 250lb person and the the main reason that I drive it is because I can fit into it. The things I'd like to be driving -Mustang GT's, 90's Z-28's I cannot fit into-so I drive a Town Car or my Buick SW.

Reflects my viewpoint on life & the environment. I drive a Honda Civic Hybrid (to help the environment), but not a Prius, because they look stupid and the Honda looks like a car, so that being a hybrid is not obvious and all "in your face".

I think it's both. Well, I drive a Toyota Rav4 and many people think that's a 'woman's car' so I guess it does reflect me, as I am a woman lol
