Yesterday i changed out my alternator in my 98 honda accord ex v6 car. The haines repair manual says i can not adjust the belt tension and it is automatic for the v6 model. Ever since i changed the alternator theres been a slight squeaking noise on the belt that runs with the alternator. I inspected the belt before putting in the new alternator and it looked fine. So what could be causing this or what can i do to elimated this noise? Its not extremly loud but its there when the rpm is at idle or when driving 0-30. When the rpms are up or while driving faster then 30 the noise goes away.

Bought it off a dealer for a total of $14,000. 2 months later the lower control arm almost falls off. 4-5 months after that, the airbag light is on, well all the warning lights are on. It has developed a coolant leek. It has developed a power steering fluid leek. I still hear an annoying squeak from the right front of the car, and finally, just as i pull into my driveway from work, the transmission decides it doesnt want to engage any more. I signed an "as is" on the contract. I have since bought a brand new honda, and have been paying booth payments. I still owe $9,000 on the volvo. Now i just cant afford it any more. HELP! Am i screwed?

I live in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
It is a decently hilly place and like anywhere in Michigan, it snows quite a bit.

Which is better??

My car ran smoothly 3 months ago, and I parked it in front of my house since last used. Yesterday when I tried to start it, I find it cannot ignite. At first I think it maybe the battery problem, and asked some one nearby to check it. That guy told me the motor is locked and asked me to change an engine. I wonder if it is possible for the motor to be locked just because I haven't use it for a couple of months. And what may be the real problem.
Thanks

*re-asking because I screwed up my last one with edit, new at this*

It runs fine at lower RPMs, but when you try to accelerate it really bogs down and has a hard time.

-There is no engine light on
-No error codes were found on ECM
-I changed the Fuel pump and fuel pump filter
-The spark plugs and wires are fine
-Used Fuel Injector cleaner, but problem still exists

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

I own an '81 Honda Express. The previous owners left gas in the gas tank while it sat for about 3 years, so the gas tank is all gunky. I'm not sure if the oil pump works, so I wanted to mix up some 2-stroke fuel mixture, but I don't know what ratio I should use. What gas-oil (10W40 or 2-stroke mix if possible) mixture should I use for testing the engine?

Yesterday, had to call breakdown out, I put key in ignition but nothing, lights on dashboard came on and startermoter was trying to connect, but nothing. AA came out said battery was dead and to get a new one. Went to Halfords and bought a new battery, took it to my local garage to fit it, cos I couldn't get the clamp off of the old to put in the new. He tested battery and it was only running at 12.46, even with accelerator down, there was no change. He told me normal is 14. Went to car this morning to go into town, turned the key and nothing, completely dead, no lights on dashboard, no electric at all, nothing from the engine. Battery completely flat from brand new. Could this be a possible alternator problem, or am I looking at something more serious? No electrics left on overnight so it wasn't that, but the car clock was still working. Please can anyone shed some light on this situation for me.
