Probably because Chevrolet never put a diesel engine in the Cavalier.

A diesel engine in a 1990 cavalier.If i were you id call rippleys believe it or not.They never put a diesel engine in any cavaliers PERIOD.

Angela, I'd try amazon.com . Also, you're owners manual might have an order form in the back for service manuels.

Have you been to your local library they have quite an extensive range of work shop manuals there and if you belong to the library you take the books out for about three weeks.

Libraries have car manuals, i didn't wanna pay 20 pounds for a manual for a Peugeot 206 so i went there and saw it and looked up my question...they had others.

Look for the old Chevy Luv Mikado's with the isuzu deisel in them. Good luck.
