This bike starts first kick without choke. It idles fine but, in first gear she appears completely fine, but in second it hits the power band and a surge of power follows but for a very short time, it is then quite flat and when the rpms increase just sounds like its bogging down. A friend of mine suggested probably using a hot plug but when I checked it is a cold plug. I am going to try a new plug but does anyone have any other ideas as to what could be the cause. Thank you

I have a 85 700 virago and here is its issue.
Start it cold runs perfect
in 2 mins one cylinder stops working.
In 5 mins at 3000 rms or better starts working.
No loss of power when both cylinders are working, no smoke, no vaulve clicking.
New plugs.
I am thinking bad coil, any other thoughts?

Well it started yesturday, I have driven the car for about 3 hours around and some knocking sound came from under the hood, it starting knocking around 2500 rmps. My Gf said that the engine may be out of oil, so I stopped by Autozone, checked the engine oil stick, no oil registered, so I bought oil for the engine. When I put some, the engine stopped knocking, But today, when i was driving to work when the engine reached around 4500rpm's starts knocking again.Did the engine has any kind of damage inside because I was driving it without oil?

I have a 2002 Odyssey and just had the belts changed and the water pump changed all the work that needed to be done at 100,000 miles. It just started to chug at about 26 to 30 miles per hour. What might be the reason? This doesn't happen when I am accelerating.

its a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. it has about 64,050 miles and runs great and cold A/C. The down side is that the person i bought it from (a old Lady) she like ran into her own house but it isn't bad of a hit. she just took off the paint of the left side of the bumper. but its a small area. do you think i can sell the car around $7,000?

ok so I sold my jeep for 500 my initial askinfg price to move it fast. I told him and showed him second gear would grind when upshifting a little and a good amount when down shifting. he took it ho me and called me and said the rear hatch glass shattered "because of the heat" so im like i cant do neting abouot that. so after the weekend i got a call from himn saying he took it to a mechanic and the mech. said the alternator and battery needed to be replaced, 2nd gear was about shot, and it probably wont pass inspections. now i just need some advice. im not out to screw anyone but its a 20 year old vehicle and there is going to things wrong. i was open about everything i knew and didnt hide anything.

I'm looking at a 1993 300ZX T-Top N/A right now, the asking price is $3800 USD. I am wondering if anyone can say yay or nay on this one. I have a list of the signifigant issues to share with anyone who is sharing their thought.

There are some dents and scratches on the left rear quarter panel, the handbrake is dead (This is an auto though.) The exhaust isn't stock, but everything else seems to be. The battery seems a little dead, but everything worked. The front driver's seat will need to be replaced in the near future, but not immediately. Other than that, there isn't much to say. Thoughts?

law that cars, bikes etc can only go a given speed thus meaning boy racers and the like cannot break the law and show off even if they wanted to? It seems crazy to me on the one hand to make it criminal to do it and on the other give us all vehicles with the capacity to do it!!??

It's a 2001 Ford Windstar. The rear speakers seem to turn off and on when I hit a bump and sometimes don't even turn back on(as in no sound coming out). It started with just the rear left, but the right one just started going out as well. I was thinking it might just be a loose connection, but then, would it be in the door? Or in the back of the stereo it's self? If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.

I have a Lowe aluminum SeaNymph 175 fishing boat, equipped with a pole mounted, bi-color, bow light with built in courtesy light (to illuminate the front casting deck). The light over heats and trips the circuit breaker after several minutes. The rocker switch is a three position type: Up = Navigation (bow and stern lights on), middle = Off, Down = Anchor (white stern light only). I can leave it in the Anchor position and it does not trip the circuit breaker. What should I look for? I opened up the light and the connections all seem intact. The following link is for the manufacturer's mounting instructions, but the light was installed already when I bought the boat brand new at a local marina.
