im looking to purchase a 1993 buick but it needs a crankshaft.or a new motor .i need some help.will this be expensve.?the car is being sold for 600.and im willing to spend 200.

Replacing the crankshaft is a major job. You are going to spend more than $200 in parts alone, if you do it correctly.

It would be better to replace the whole motor, but again, you are looking at more than $200.

Look for a different car!!

Above answers are correct in every way..but you did ask how much at Pick and Pull. In Houston, similar company, pick a part...Used engine complete, you pull $120. I doubt that they will let you just pull crank and if you need that,,there are more parts damaged, that the full engine can provide.

you need to replace the whole motor..the crank , rings bearings and gaskets cost over $200
