Leather is easy to maintain as long as you do it little and often.
As soon as you buy the car use a good leather protector (Not a conditioner) and then use Lazy Leather as an on going cleaner and protector, this has been tested to be the most effective way of keeping leather in good condition. The leather should then last a long time without needing anything else doing.
The protector will inhibit dirt and body oils from penetrating the leather which are the 2 things you need to guard against.

Leather is nice if you use a leather conditioner about 3 times a year. If you live in a very hot climate like Phoenix, AZ your leather can get baked by the sun and will become dry and cracked. My daughter lives there and this happened to her leather seats in her car.

Spill grape juice on a cloth seat and then spill it on a leather seat, see which one will clean up the easiest and stay looking better longer. As for caring for leather, I use a damp rag to get the dirt off, let it dry and then put a coat of leather cream on it. It makes the interior of the car smell new again.

personally, i love leather seats...they're very comfortable. to keep them from being too hot, though, you need to make sure you have a good tint on your windows. the tint will also prevent the seats from fading and cracking through time. you'd also be wise to treat them with a conditioner every once in a while. in addition, proper care will provide an advantage when re-selling the vehicle.
sliding can be a problem but if they have decent side bolsters then the sliding is considerably lessened.
enjoy your new car!

they are nice to have. there is some leather oil you can buy for the seats. but time will takes its toll on them with the sun and heat. however using this stuff can preserve them they should last at least 7 to 10 years. you can buy it online or or check out your local parts store

Don't lie for the dealership, let the bank know what is going on and that this is not how yall closed the deal. Then take the original paperwork you signed with the dealer into the bank. Your deal should not hold up at all and will most likely be used in a court of law to hang the dealer. If you play ball with this dealer, you will be sharing time with them.

typically they wear out twice as fast as cloth material seats, because of improper care
