Have been told it could possibly be the EGR Valve and also Cataletic converter. EGR Valve has been messed up for a while and we were told to take it off and clean the valves we did that and it started doing it afterwards. WE unplugged the EGR valve and went down the road and it didn't jerk couldthe EGR Valve make it jerk? Also a real bad gas smell comes in the car when it jolts real bad. Doesn't start until it gets warm.

The car is an '03 and has about 55k miles and two weeks ago the clutch broke. I got the car back today and the clutch pedal feels far different then it did before the clutch broke. I only owned the car a month so I am not sure how it should feel. The shop put on a kit with bearings and stuff to fix the car.

Now there is next to no resistance to the clutch pedal, and it doesn't gradually catch, more of a sudden catch.

Also second and third gears make a ggggrt noise, worse with second. Third is a slight grt that is not much, second is a long loud grrrrrt!. It sounds like I didn't fully engage the clutch. The other gears have no problems.

The shop said it should go away and to just drive carefully with the car until then...

Anyone here have any advice for me in this matter?

I have 73 Chevy Vega, and it doesn't seem to be running well. I think it needs oil, but I can't find the dipstick. Also, I don't know what kind of oil it should have.
I had someone look at it recently, and he said it needed some work on the radiator, including a new heating core. However, he couldn't to the areas of the engine that needed work without breaking other parts.
Can anyone tell me how to check the oil and how much I should put in? Also, any other advice about a 73 Vega is greatly appreciated :)

I've looked at the GMC Savana and Safari, They are very ugly and look more like delivery trucks. I've seen and ridden in some very pretty 8 passenger vans that look like normal 6 passenger vans/SUVs, but I never thought to get the name. My parents are foster parents and have gotten 4 children. We sometimes also watch my moms best friends son(like my lil bro) so we need an 8 passenger. please help me. thinks bunches

I am aware that many companies like Hertz or Avis offer vans for within city moving. But what about one way rentals?

Alternatively: Can the seats in a passenger van be removed or folded enough to accommodate some serious cargo?

I want to buy a used compact car and spend between $7,500 - $9,500. I've seen several cars advertised online by dealers and private sellers that come close to meeting my criteria, but I would prefer to buy from a reputable dealer (like Carmax or similar) that does a 100+ point mechanical/safety inspection. I know that dealers price cars above the Blue Book value to make a profit. So how can I negotiate the price down closer to my preferred minimum price of $7,500? Also, can anyone recommend online references/resources that provide advice on how to negotiate effectively with auto dealers, for either used or new cars? (I live in the Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD metro areas if that's relevant.)

So I have an ATV tire (9x12x25) that inflates but loses air after about 2-3 days and I am thinking of using SLIME tire sealant to see if that helps. I figure that will be cheaper than buying a new tire for about $60. Any thoughts or recommendations? I have a 16 oz. bottle of SLIME.
