Theres no such thing as a driveshaft seal. Are you talking about the differential pinion seal? If you have the instructions to follow, go for it.

Assuming you mean rear trans seal:
Remove driveshaft
Use hooked tool or rent puller to pull seal.
Clean hole.
Gently start new seal in place until it stays.
Use something, like a 4" block of wood, to drive seal in evenly
Reinstall driveshaft.
Check ehow.com for further details, but that's it.

sounds like your talking about the rearend pinion seal, it's not that easy a job as the rearend gears and pinion gear have to be removed to change it.

Tranny, or Diff?
If it's tranny, fairly simple with minimal tools.
If it's differencial, unless you have HUGE tools, you won't be able to remove and reinstall the differencial yoke. (take it to a pro.)
