how do you get a WAIVER or extension for North Carolina vehicle inspection. i have less than a month to get it done, but i know my car isnt going to pass, and i am not going to have all of the money to get my vehicle fixed before time, does anyone know how i can obtain a waiver for my vehicle inspection to give me more time? in the state of NORTH CAROLINA? thanks

Every day I drive to work, someone is just doing the speed limit (or below) and cruising along in the passing lane. If there is nobody in the travling lane, I will pass them there. But sometimes I'm stuck, like it's a road block!

I know, this sounds really stupid but I lost the only key to my car, where can I get someone to make a new one? How does that work, do they have to come and like make a cast mold thing with the ignition or just need some serial numbers or something like that? I just bought the car and drove it home, I kept the key in my pocket and had to go to practice and I think it fell out of my pocket during practice and no one has found it I think the lawn mower ground it up so how much does it cost and where should I call? I bought it from a private party not like a dealer or anything it's a Chrysler New Yorker 1996, thanks so much.

My friend last weekend crashed his bike...classic set-up, idiot pulls in front of him, and he slams on his brakes, the front locks up, and he is down.

My other roomate stated inexperience was at fault, but, really, who among us is Rossi, and can just "modulate" the braking system in a panic situation of life preservation?

BMW since the late 80's has been offering bikes with ABS, and I personally think it is an abomination that it is not standard on EVERY bike sold, at a minimum the front brakes.

insurance company say it was stolen. police say taken without consent and now we're left with a write off and no one to cover cost but ourselves. son was arrested. should his insurer cover cost? because our car is third party only and they're saying its not there responsibility although the vehacle was fully comp.

I would like to know, what is better when you are going to buy a car, lease it or buy it? because if you lease you have the option to buy it after 3 years with 40% discount, if you buy it after 3 years the cost of the car has gone dawn probably 40% so it looks like the same, please explain me if there is a difference or not!

my car is a black infiniti G35. i cant tell how deep the scratch is but its one long scratch practically all around the car. i can feel the grooves.

I have a 1986 5-spd 300zx turbo that was sitting for about 4 months but was indoors and didn't feel any whether what so ever, just got it back yesterday , and it runs pretty well , still has that kick Z's tend to have. However it is an 86 and times have changed, how much speed/horsepower can I realistically gain with medium difficulty work and for around 2000 dollars?

My Driver side window doesn't come down. It was sparadic, now it won't move at all. The other three windows are also acting up. They open and close when they feel like it. Is this maybe a bad motor? I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport auto windows of course.

I have a 2002 ford explorer I replaced the front brakes and the make a grinding sound when applied. I know the brakes are installed properly and a little concerned about the noise. I noticed that the brake pads are beveled on the old set on both sides. The new set is flat all the way across. Could this noise be from the new pads being cut down by the rotors? I noticed there is a lip on the rotor that is in the same place as the bevel in the pads. Is this normal? I have never seen a rotor with a lip. Also it is a 4x4 if this helps.Please answer if you have any knowledge about this.
