I just got my New 2007 Harley Sportster 1200c there is a light on the odometer that is a #6 I asked the dealer about it when i got the bike he said that it is for when i am in the 6th gear it will come one to let me know. I tried to go into 6th gear and there only seems to be five. HELP ? Is there really 6 gears on this bike or do i have to reach a certain speed for this to kick on?

is it more worthed to buy a slighty used vehicle from a dealership or a brand new vehicle for about 17-19,000? lets say a honda civic. would they let you finance a used car? and are used dealership a rip off? will it be alot cheaper buying a used one?

The question from Chicky, below, got me wondering once again about an ore hauling railroad privately owned, I believe, down under. I'd like the name so I can collect more info.

When last I knew of it, they were running their trains remote, across some 1,000 miles of track, straight as an arrow and as flat as a (insert the name of something really flat here).

They were handling 23,000 metric tons at a whack with six old SD-45's, three on the point and three cut-in the train.

Do I remember correctly and do you know the name of the company that operates it?

I got a '03 Grand Am GT Coupe about a month ago. No problems except for tonight. The lights that come on when you open the door, won't turn off when the doors are all shut. The trunk is shut too. Any idea of what could be wrong?

If I take the light bulbs out, will it still take power away from the battery?

I removed the Driver side Transaxle (CV) shaft, I replaced it with a new one, however i can't seem to get it to seat all the way into the transmission, I pulled it back out and looked inside the transaxle and their appears to be a Horrizontal shaft that will not allow the splined end of the axle go into the transalxe all the way. Does this shaft have to been slide up or down ?

What kind of damage can happen to a new 2007 kawasaki streetbike if it is laid down going, not even, 10 miles an hour. can there be any major engine damage because of that or will it just all be minor?

My new truck (I sold my Mack diesel last month) is a little rough around the edges. I admit it needs some body work, new bumpers, the transmission leaks and the windsheild is cracked. The seat is also torn and I have a beach towell covering the foam and frame, I use a screwdriver to start the truck, the headliner has rotted and both sunvisors fell off. I have good rims but four different size tires -- but that doesn't really matter because my 4x4 system won't engage anyway. Yesterday my exhaust pipe broke in two and now smoke drifts up through the holes in the floor when I drive (I got kinda dizzy this morning when I drove to the gas station). I tried to install a stereo that I took out of my old '98 Chevy but it won't fit so me and my ex-brother inlaw duct taped it to the dash (it's all split and rotted anyway). So this bozo at the gas station was laughing at me and said my truck was the biggest piece of s*it he ever saw. I beg to differ -- what do you think?

opening the hood there is a cap that I am guessing is the low side port right up front on the tube that runs across the front end. my r134v a needs alittle top off and I want to be sure I can access it before buying a can. my 2001 s-10 4cyl. has an access located in a very difficult to reach place.

I saw an online ad and a guy is selling his 2004 Nissan Altima for $4900. The car has only 45,000 miles on it. He said he needs to get rid of it because he wants another car.
