i have a 2000 dodge ram sport its giving a code of output speed sensor malfunction where is it located and can i replace it ?????

its on the rear left hand side of the trans 1 inch socket will take it out yes you can replace

on a two wheel drive you will find it as the last sensor on the transmission toward the drive shaft. on a four wheel drive pretty much much the same [position, but toward the rear output shaft.

It is probably incorporated into the ABS braking system. Sorry for not having a more specific answer.

its a sensor that screws into the transmission

its on the other side of the input sensor
