I removed the Driver side Transaxle (CV) shaft, I replaced it with a new one, however i can't seem to get it to seat all the way into the transmission, I pulled it back out and looked inside the transaxle and their appears to be a Horrizontal shaft that will not allow the splined end of the axle go into the transalxe all the way. Does this shaft have to been slide up or down ?
it dosent seem to what to move

lay the two shafts side by side, and compare them for lenth, diameter, or any other variations.some times you have to give the shaft a tap with a small hammer and block of wood. that shaft that you are seeing ill bet is the differential side gear support.it will not move.
