the average, from what I've heard is about 8-9 mpg. But there is a good side, if you towing,.... which is the ONLY reason to get this truck.... you should see about 8 mpg. Meaning that you aren't working the motor too hard.
hope you realize how expensive it is to fix this vehicle...... 10 spark plugs. 20 valves, huge expensive transmission, motor, transfer case, and rear end.....etc..

the v-10 is a real workhorse...it will pull anything a cummins will but to the hum of about 5-8 mpg....the best part is it doesn't matter if it is loaded or not they seem to get about the same either way....if you are serious about getting a truck like that i might suggest going with a cummins

If you have to ask how much is the gas, then you cannot afford the machine...
I had a guy ask me at a gas station what the mileage is on my 911...f--k, like I CARE?!
