My Driver side window doesn't come down. It was sparadic, now it won't move at all. The other three windows are also acting up. They open and close when they feel like it. Is this maybe a bad motor? I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan Sport auto windows of course.

likely it is the drivers side master switch failing, but it could also be a body control module so I would have it properly diagnosed before just throwing parts at the problem.

Easy way to check:
If you have a bad window motor, you can usually take the and hit the center part of your door with your hand a couple of time, and it will jolt the motor and cause it to start working again( This doesn't always work but is very effective on most cars). Unfortunately this isn't a permanent fix, you will need to replace window motor.

If that doesn't work, Since the other windows are working properly, then you've probably got a bad window switch. Easy way to tell, remove connector from switch and take a paper clip and jump the switch. you should hear the motor start moving.
Good luck and Hope this helps!

Master switch is going bad or wiring harness from the door to the body is cracking/fraying and getting poor connection---opening and closing the door a lot can sometimes bend the wires to the point where they fray and break. Could also be bad motor on drivers door--it gets used the most but not all the motors at the same time....could be multiple problems. Try wiggling the wire harness between the door and the body and see if it helps or do the pound on the door panel trick--works on my Mom's car.

Sounds like the window lift motor is failing. It could be the switch, but more than likely it's the motor. Your looking about 50-80 us dollar to fix it. And about 1-1 1/2 hour labor.
