Both are good trucks. I say go with the Sierra. Only a test drive will help you decide. I've driven nothing but Sierra's all my life and never had a problem with them. There are far more aftermarket parts available for the Sierra than the Tundra.

Good luck.

They are both good trucks. The Sierra is bigger, which makes it better for carrying things, but also makes it harder to find places to park. I think the Tundra drives better and is a more stylish vehicle. On the other hand, even though it is smaller it has about the same turning radius as the Sierra, which can be a problem when trying to make a tight turn, and the gas mileage is not really any betterm even though it is a smaller vehicle, at least in the 2004 models and earlier. I personally would pick the Tundra if you are plannning to use the vehicle more for personal transportation than for hauling, because Toyotas have a well deserved reputation for producing some of the most reliable vehicles there are . If you are planning on carrying things in the back all the time, I would get the Sierra because it has more space and GMC trucks are still fairly reliable.

The Toyota Tundra will outlast that GMC by many miles and years. GM vehicles have never been great, and never will be due to they use crappy engines and transmission and don't have power to pull anything.

Buy the Tundra. You'll be glad you did. The Tundra can outpull the GMC 1/2 ton truck.

GM vehicles are not made in the US any longer, the only US made vehicles now are Toyotas.

I've had a Sierra for a long time. They are very good trucks!
The Toyota is also a good truck.
Seriously, you should select the one that floats your boat the most!
Drive and enjoy!

definitely the tundra,, very low maintenance,, better in MPG and better resale value..

GMCs are just plain junk... and the consumer reviews can prove that...

what form of names do you provide your automobiles? something cool like snow fall, or White-out? something redneck like White power or effective Whitey? human beings names like Fred or Jill? in my opinion, if I had to call it i might call it moonshine, cuz it incredibly is white like the moon and damn does it shine!
