I got a new bike and took it for my first time riding today. The bike would only stay running if i kept some gas on it or else it would die, even in neutral.Unless i kept it reved up. I figured it was the clutch needed to be replaced because the cable was already be stretched out pretty much as much as possible . I also noticed oil/grease leaking from wear the exhaust connects to the engine.Maybe from the wrong oil mixture 40-1?? i dont know im new to the bike.Then i took the bike home and washed it.Started it up and it started was a little smokey , i then ran once up my block and then it died.Tried to start it but nothing i bumb started it started but it bogged down till it died right away.And after that it wouldnt start.Any ideas?

I have a Holden Commodore VT '98, 3.8L V6 saloon and lately noticed oil spots on drive way. Not much, but enough to have closer look and looks dark/black in colour. Engine oil I guess. Where abouts in engine will this leak occur? And will it develop in to a major problem if not corrected soon? Level on dipstick seems to be okay.

I have a corolla and the engine light comes on. The previous owner whom I bought the car from, says the oxygen sensor needs to be fixed as told my his mechanic. What are possible things that could happen if I avoid fixing it??? Just curious.

I bought a 2002 Altima from a dealership in January 2007 and was told that it was a "rare" Nismo edition (yes those words we used) and I bought the story because I knew that they did in fact exist. The car is branded only with Nismo on the back and on both sides down by the wheels, it has the 3.5L V6 and a Nismo intake the only problem is that I can't find any evidence on the internet that this car was made for 2002, I can only find the 2006 version. One of my only thoughts was that records show that this car was bought brand new in 2001 from a dealership in West Hollywood, California and seems how I don't live in California I wondered if maybe it was a special edition made for SoCal? With my lack of evidence I really just wonder if the previous owners rebranded the car and added the Nismo intake and the salesman just told me a load of bull. I mean he was seriously only 18 so who knows what the truth is with a used car. If anyone knows where I can find info on this it would be great!

It's a 2001 Saturn SL1. I just had a brand new battery put in two weeks ago. They tested the starter, the alternator and the battery wires. All of those were fine and the guy said the diagnostic machine indicated a bad battery. I just put a new battery in the car a little less than two years ago but I paid $80 for a new one and the car seemed to run fine for two weeks. Then today I drove a short distance to the gas station and turned off my car. It started fine and I drove and short distance to the grocery store and this time it would not start. Turned the key but nothing happened. Seemed to have battery power but nothing happened when you tried to start it. So the triple AAA guy comes and jumps it and the car starts fine. Any ideas why a car with a new battery, and supposedly a fine alternator, starter, and battery cables won't restart after short trips?

i bought this bike a month ago. recently i realized the right front exhaust wasn't very hot. i pulled the plug wire on the right front cylinder with the bike running and it did not seem to make a difference in rpm's. i pulled the plug and checked for spark. it did have a spark when cranking the motor over. one would think the carb is not working correctly. there is a small screw on the intake near that cylinders carb, i took out the screw and put a small cap full of gas near the hole and let the motor run and suck in the gas. that did not seem to make any difference in the way it ran. the motor did not surge or anything. i believe the compression is ok but have not checked it. also, i have gotten 47 mpg. that seems to be normal, i think, for a good running bike. pulling the plug wires on the other cylinders makes a difference in rpm's. any ideas as to what gives with the right front cylinder?

when would an engine check light turn on? what has to have happened for it to sent a signal to the computer for it to turn on? and if its not on a luxury car, it wont turn on just as a reminder for regular maintenance, so what could it be for?

In Maryland, do I have to have my liscense plates on both the front and back of my car?

I don't want to put it on the front by drilling through the body, or have it in the window because that's just annoying. I dont really want to spend any extra cash on those snap-on liscense plate holders so I'd really like to know if I even have to have it on the front.

To me, I thought it was a really cool Car, which will begin sales in the early spring 2008, and the design was super duper good for the hyundai and this kind of car is you have to see it for real, not by videos or pictures. well the Tau engine has many horsepower and can reach 60mph in less than 6 secs.! well they haven't posted the inside pics. but they say it is good as M-Benz S class!
