Is there any difference between automotive and marine fuel lines? If so, I need more info. Thanks

Its not a "legal thing", its a "safety"thing. Fuel lines do need to be USCG approved to prevent fire or explosions from fuel leaks. You would not want to use just any rubber fuel line that could weap of fail under pressure or start leaking because its not compatable with the fuel type. When you are out on the water there is no place to pull over when you have trouble and help could be hours away.

Marine fuel lines should be USCG A-1 for fuel, and USCG A-2 for fuel return.

Not really, but, there is always that "butt", Marine fuel lines may need to be Coast Guard Approved! Not that it matters technically, but, it a legal thing. Though it really would not be checked, unless you wanting the boat to be Coast Guard Approved. Hope you understand. Even the Fill Hose like this!
