First off Porterhouse you answer is not all that great. What other airports are you comparing it to? TIA offers a short term parking and a long term parking right above the main terminal building and have completed the first faze of and completing the second faze of an economy parking garage. TIA offers you the ability to wait with your vehicle at the arrival drive to pick up your passengers as long as it a reasonable wait. If not you would be directed to a remote lot to await your parties arrival, there is a large board showing the flights delay times and any other status such as arriving and and which baggage belt. TIA as with any other airport encounter higher volumes of traffic during peak travel times and seasons.

Okay for what's wrong with TIA, It is growing just as are the counties surrounding it. More people = More airport needs, Just as More People = more Roadway needs. The growth of the airport is going full speed ahead in fact its 20 year plan has bee pushed up to accommodate the growth. Problems always arise with growth. Traffic is felt by usurers of the airport and those traveling around the surrounding area. Development of the surrounding area causes people to have to sell their property.
With security being at the yellow status TIA provides a high standard of policies to controller breaches. Their was reports of a flaw in one seance, An employee bus traveling across two taxiways (thru two gated access points) from The employee parking lot to the main terminal building. This is and has been looked at and new measures have been taken. The employees parking lot was placed at its location for the airport to grow further on the south side of the terminal and with the FDOT rebuilding roadways into and around TIA this does lessen traffic to the airport. A new terminal building will be built to the north of the existing terminal building (Opened in 1971).

I think the better question is what's right with it?? I've been quite a few times and it is tough to find parking that is reasonably close, the traffic approach is deplorable.... and the list continues.
