who knows the height limit for an average truck if your giving it a lift kit?

Every state is different California if the rocker panel is above the top of the wheel rim ticket. In Texas where I live the sky is the limit but the head lights have to be a 3 feet from the road. You have to ask your department of motor vehicles.

The higher you make it the less stable the ride so minimum lift to clear the big tires is better for performance. You are limited to 13 feet from the highest part of the truck to the road surface or you will hit on underpasses!
