ok well my temperature gage goes up and down constantly i looked it up and it said could be an antifreeze leak and well i do have one, well now i gotta problem i just drove to the grocery store and my 1994 plymouth grand voyager acted like it had a dead battery at first then it started. when it started i had a lot of white smoke comming out of the exauhst could that be the antifreez or what

Fuel door area received no damage before or after I popped it open with the release button so this is very puzzling for it to be ajar "out of the blue".

when i take my foot off the clutch when coming to a stop,the engine makes a funny rattling noise. When i press my foot down full on the clutch, it stops. Whats going on?? The car is a 106. Help!!!

Hello,
Recently I purchased A Vibe Space SQ12 active subwoofer 1000W RMS 3000W Peak. My car stereo has a special subwoofer output. The problem is that when I connect the subwoofer to the subwoofer output it doesn't produce any sound but just vibrations which get stronger and stronger I push the volume up. If I connect the subwoofer to my front or rear speakers, there is music comming out of it but if I turn up the volume too high the whole system switches off as there have been some kind of overload. The system starts again after I turn the engine off and on again. My car stereo is a Pioneer Avic X1R 4 x 50W RMS.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Need picture diagram for a 1998 BMW 323is. I purchased a belt (old one flew off) , the new one will not fit proprely so im thinking maybe a part (pulley wheel) came off..but don't know until I see a picture...PLEASE HELP

I checked the oil stick and the level of oil was very low, barely showed on the stick. The vehicle started to rattle while driving and shut off. Did I lock up the motor. It will not turn over when I tried to crank it. It makes a clicking sound but won't start. 99 Dodge Caravan.

i have try everithing i can think of and is burning too much gas, passing too much unburn gas...

i change

mass air flow sensor--------
spark plugs---------
2 O2 sensors
throttle control ---------
ecu -------

i got no misfire no check engine at all, and the motor will not pass 5.000 rpm's and it would chock,

turbo if fine but i have some exaust smoke out of it

help me im new with subarus i only work with nissans

What do you think for a Chevy 350 V8 4 bolt main with about 400 hp. Cam, high compression, ect., no smog, 7 qt pan, in a 43 Willy's. Should I use 10w 40 Mobil 1 or the 15w 40 Shell Rotella (has the anti-wear additives still in it)? Just thought I would ask, I am interested in the responses.

When I am going from 0-60 pressing down on the gas hard. The car shifts from all the way to the 4th gear. But I have to let up on the gas then press it again to get it going in 4th. What can be wrong?

I have driven stick shift cars all my life. I recently bought a automatic shift 07 Camry. I am having hard time understanding the gas paddling. If I keep my feet on the gas paddle for long time, the RPM reaches 5000, which is too high. What is the exact technique to drive a auto shift car. With a stick shift the control is in your hand to change the gear. With the auto I am at the mercy of RPM to shift or I need to adjust my feet pressure on the paddle for the RPM to be at 2000 or min (ideal). Please help.

I have a 2002 Saturn VUE, 93k miles, that maybe would bring $2500 actual trade value. However, it has a just expired vehicle inspection and I know that the computers and ignition switch and at least two tires need fixing, for around $2500.
My credit is poor (about 580 score) and I have been running one month behind on payments. I don't know whether I have to at least get past the inspection sticker to try to sell it, in which case I maybe should keep it and pay off the loan and get an '08 SUE (say one selling for $27k), or just go to the dealer with maybe $3000 in hand for a down payment and see if they will cut a deal. I know I would have to roll in the upside down amount of around $7k. I think I want a Kia Sorento EX. I hate to go in and get turned down, and also really don't want to be refinancing the residual, but I really do want a car I can depend on. Right now I rent when I go out of town. What should I do?

I think it's just the cable that goes from the shifter to the transmission, but don't want to spend the cash for an extra cable if it's something else.

It's a 96 Corsica, 74k miles. First it wouldn't start (lights would come on, but it wouldn't crank), then it started cranking but now won't engage. I think the cable mestup so it wouldn't crank (maybe it was in Drive or something) and then it started cranking, yet the transmission won't engage, and the shifter doesn't have any "resistance" like normal when changing gears. I'm thinking it's the cable, but do you have any advice? :)

When I turn the key, the engine do not turn over. It clicks twice, like the starter is locked up. It was making a rattling sound when I was accelarating then it stop running. 99 Dodge Caravan.

The truck has 250 000 km on it, it is a 2000 Sierra 4x4 with Z71 package (aluminum block) and lately it has intermittenly been idling high, when in gear with the brake on high idle is approx 750 rpm, and when i shift into park it jumps to approx 1350 rpm, the normal idle for this truck in gear is 500 rpm, and in park 750 rpm, if anyone has any ideas please let me know, thanks
