Blown head gasket. Cracked/broken/warped head.

You could be burning antifreeze. Sounds like the head gasket is blown.

Automatic transmission fluid being burned can also cause very thick white smoke. Via defective transmission modulator valve.

Sounds like antifreeze getting to the exhaust system and vaporizing from the heat.
Could be a cracked block or cracked head.

Pull the vacuum line off going down to the transmission, if it has transmission fluid in it then the modulator valve is leaking replace valve.

White smoke= water vapour =head gasket more likely than not.
