I am in the market to buy a new car . I have my eyes on an Altima & a Camry . I can't decide . I will like to keep this car for 8 yrs . I drove the Altima 4cyl and it has a lot of power and I think it has a better fuel economy than the Camry (pretty close) . But how about RELIABILITY ?
Is the Altima to give less maintenance problems than the Camry ?
Will the Altima hold it's value more than a Camry ?
I like the Altima because I think it is a little smaller and easier to handle like in parking lots parallel parking , rear parking etc. I think the Camry's visibility because of the size you are more likely to hit a car in a parking lot sooner or later in 8 yrs . But is the Camry more reliable in maintenance ? and hold it's price better ?
Your opinion is appreciated .

Im going to be buying my first new vehicle (first three were used) Im considering 1 american vehicle, 2 japanese, and 1 european. My gut and my instincts are telling me to go with japanese or the euro but from what my mom and her local connection with a certain dealer is to go with the american car because of current financing and incentives.

Ive had pretty good luck with jap cars but im not so sure of the quality of recent american vehicles. So i leave it to you, help me make the correct choice so im not shelling out beaucoup bux for repairs and such

Today, while driving uphill my car's engine started rev ving and wouldn't go. I got out and there was transmission fluid all over the road. I put a quart in, drove 1 mile and it did it again. There's no hole in my transmission pan or anything. What's up?

New rotors and new pads were installed. If the car rolls slowly and I lightly touch the brake pedal, I get a metal to metal grinding noise from the front wheels. When I apply the brakes at normal speed, there is no noise. The mechanic can't figure it out. The noise appears whether the brakes are hot or cold. There are no marks on the rotors that would indicate any damage. What could be the cause and the solution?

I lent my car to my brother the other day, it caught on fire, won't start anymore and there was puddles of transmission fluid beneath the car. The car had previous transmissions leaks, I'm thinking it might need a seal but not sure, when I try starting it, it seems to want to start, but is making some crunching sounds... any ideas on what could be the problem?

I'm trying to find a grill to replacement the damaged grill currently on my truck. I can't find any websites that sell 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD factory grills. I want to replace the damaged grill with the same style, I don't want one of the new fancy grills. I simply want the factory, original style. I just can't find any website which sells those grills. Does anyone know a place where this part is sold?

Thanks in advance!

For 5 years montly fees is $399. For 6 years is $469. I'm planning on making $5000d down payment. so now for 5 years it's $265. 6 years it's $233...they said that the two years warranty is included in there already. I have no experience in this..Should I get this car or not? What should I do? I've look at the history of this car and it's good. btw the interest rate is 12 points something. Should I get a loan from the bank instead? the interest rate for the bank is 10 points something. Could anyone help me? please?

Right now it just feels "gooey", for a lack of better words. Before it turned with no problem, now all of a sudden i have to put some strength into it. I can't have it fixed soon, cause I'm low on cash. But if I'm out some where and the key wont turn any more, i'll need to be able to hot-wire it to get it home. I shouldn't be difficult considering lots of bikes, including my friends', get stolen in a moment.
I got an 2001-CBR600 F4i.
I know I'll be making it easy for some one to jack my baby if i do it, but i might not have a choice!

This is going to be placed on the Arizona ballot in 2008! In my opinion, it is about time!! I am so tired of having to drive 15 miles under the speed limit behind someone because they are trying to talk and drive and I cannot get around them. I think this is probably the reason for my other pet peeve; those who forget they have indicator/turn signals too. How do you all feel about it?
