My bike gets really high revd when i turn it on and when i just ride it. It feels like it is gonna just blow up when i ride it. My friend also had the same bike just one year newer and his blew mine out of the water. Some of my biking friends say i need new seals on it does anybody know what the issue could be

Make, model and year of the bike?

Do the revs go slower and faster without touching the throttle?

If so, it's an air leak - and needs to be fixed NOW before it does more engine damage.

If it's a two stroke, then your buddies are probably right about the main bearing seals going out. This results in an air leak.

If it's not an air leak, it could be a kinked throttle cable, plugged jets in the carb, and a multitude of other possible problems, depending on what model it is.

More info please?

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
2 stroke? - Could be an air leak. When it's high reving, will the revs come down when you apply the choke? Is yes, that's the problem. (left crank seal, intake manifold).
Did you turn down the idle. Big screw on the carb (counter clockwise).
